GeoDirectory Compare Listings

Compare Listings is a GeoDirectory add-on that lets users view listings side by side and compare vital information. Classifieds and accommodation directories can use it to compare things like features and prices across listings.

Users compare up to 5 listings at a time, and you can change that maximum. You choose which fields show in the comparison table. The comparison opens in a lightbox, so users stay on their page, and each one has a dedicated shareable URL. Selections carry across pages until removed. They are kept in browser storage, so there are no cookies or sessions.

The compare button is customizable, including its icons, add and remove text, colors and size. It comes as a shortcode, widget or block. A shortcode or block also embeds a comparison table of specific listing IDs in a page or post. It works with the Custom Post Types and Events add-ons, with separate fields and compare lists per post type.
