WP Mail SMTP Pro

WP Mail SMTP Pro sets WordPress up to send email through a trusted third-party provider instead of the default WordPress email settings. Authenticated emails are far less likely to land in the spam folder. You need a self-hosted WordPress site, and you do not need any coding knowledge.

You can send through SendLayer, SMTP.com, Brevo, Amazon SES, Google Workspace and Gmail, Mailgun, Microsoft 365 and Outlook.com, Postmark, SendGrid, SMTP2GO, SparkPost or Zoho Mail, or use your own SMTP server credentials. The Email Log saves details about every email sent, including delivery status and recipient. Email Reports graph deliverability, and open and click tracking shows how your emails perform. Failure alerts reach you by email, SMS, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord or custom webhooks.

A backup connection takes over automatically if your primary mailer fails. Smart Email Routing uses conditional logic to send emails through different providers. You can also receive weekly email summaries and control which notifications your site sends. White Glove Setup is a service where experts install and configure the plugin for SendLayer, SMTP.com or Brevo accounts. It needs a custom domain and is not available on WordPress Multisite, although the plugin itself supports network-wide settings.
