99Plugs was started by web developers, for web developers, and our mission is to make the web development and client after-care process easier and a little less time-consuming than it stands now.

While developing websites just like you are, we searched and searched for an easy, cost-effective solution to managing premium plugins and themes, but we came up empty handed. Therefore, we had three options. One, go broke purchasing hundreds of plugins and themes directly. Two, continue with the headache of manually downloading and updating when new versions are released (which is always). Or, three, we solve the problem.

We decided to go with option #3 and 99Plugs was born! Our unique system not only allows you to get all the plugins and themes you need for your projects at rock-bottom prices, you no longer need to manually download updates. All updates are easily managed right from your WordPress dashboard, just like the freebies at WordPress.org.

This means that once the item is purchased, you are free to use the item on as many websites as you want and even redistribute it if you so choose.

Funds from your purchases go towards maintaining and subscribing to many, many 3rd party theme and plugin authors. This group buying power keeps our prices low and we pass the savings on to you!

You can update your plugins and themes manually by downloading them from our website, or you can use 99Plugs Update Manager (included with all themes and plugins) to get automatic, hassle-free updates right in your WordPress Dashboard.

Whether you buy one item or a bundle, we provide 365 days of updates. We update our products as soon as the developers update theirs.

Yes and no.

If you require technical support for a plugin or theme, then you will need to purchase the product at full price directly from the author or you will need to hire a freelancer to take a look for you. Alternatively, you could seek help from some of the helpful WordPress community forums.

Not offering technical support is another way in which we are able to offer these products at extremely discounted prices.

That being said, if you are having technical difficulties with plugin or theme installation or updates, please feel free to submit a support ticket and we will help you the best we can.

As many as you like. All the plugins and themes we offer are GPL licensed so you can use them as often as you like on as many sites as you like. Have a friend who is building a site? Go ahead and share them with your friend. Seriously, there are no catches.

Our update keys DO NOT activate the plugin or theme itself. Nor do you need to.

This is one of the biggest misconceptions in the WordPress community.

License keys ARE NOT required and do not restrict the functionality of the plugin or theme itself.

License keys directly from the author to “activate” plugins or themes are ONLY if you want to receive support and updates directly from the author of the plugin or theme. It has nothing to do with functionality, ever.

You are NEVER required to enter a license key to use a plugin or theme. They will work perfectly fine without one.

With 99Plugs, you are issued an update key which will give you updates directly through us. The only difference between us and purchasing directly from the developer is: cost and support. The item itself and their updates will work just the same.

All the items we offer are licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL). You do not need license keys to install or use them on your websites, regardless of how many websites you have.

You can simply ignore the nags to “activate” your plugin or theme.

We personally use and recommend hiding the license activation reminders through a plugin like “Disable admin notices individually”. This is a free plugin that is very popular in the WordPress community.

Absolutely not.

One thing we’ve ran into with similar sites (and frustrated us), was their so-called “fair use” policies restricting downloads to 15 a day. While this may work for some, we didn’t like paying for a service that arbitrarily blocks us when we’re just trying to get our work done, legitimately.

It’s very frustrating when some days you need 0, but then you have those busy days and need 30 downloads and, even though you’re a paying customer, are restricted from doing so. Yeah, we’ve been there.

It is also unsustainable in the long run, because updates also count against your download limit. So, even if you get by with the initial 15 a day limitation, what happens when you have a couple hundred or more plugins from different client projects that need updating? You’re forced to stretch those updates over several days. I don’t know about you, but I like to get things done on my time and that is just a hassle no one needs.

Keep in mind, the longer you wait to upgrade, the less of a discount you will receive. The discount is prorated based on the original purchase date of your update key, so the sooner you upgrade, the more you will save.
