About This Plugin
PublishPress Statuses Pro adds premium features to PublishPress Statuses, which lets you build a publishing workflow from your own post statuses. It needs the free PublishPress Statuses plugin from WordPress.org.
WordPress gives a post only two statuses before it goes live: Draft and Pending Review. Add your own, with names, colors and icons that show in the editor, and choose which roles can assign each one. Send deferred, rejected or needs-work posts down an alternate path, and create parent and child statuses for review branches that rejoin the main workflow.
With Permissions Pro, statuses can also control who sees a post. With Revisions Pro, proposed updates move through your statuses too.
