About This Plugin
Dark Reader Pro adds advanced dark mode features to a site running Dark Reader. It needs the free Dark Reader plugin from wordpress.org.
Visitors get a custom toggle, and the plugin detects their operating system preference. Schedule dark mode by sunrise and sunset, exclude elements you do not want changed, and apply filters to images and videos. Analytics and an admin dark mode are included, and a custom dark palette editor sets your own colors. It uses CSS variables and works with all page builders, with no theme edits.
For accessibility it meets WCAG 2.1 AA contrast, adds a Ctrl+D keyboard shortcut and announces changes to screen readers. It also supports battery saver mode and white-label branding.
