Password Protected Categories

Password Protected Categories hides categories and taxonomies. Only people with the right passwords, user roles or user accounts can access them. Adding one or more passwords to a category protects that category, its subcategories and all its posts, with or without individual user accounts.

You can restrict categories by user role or user account, so logged-in users see their protected categories. It works with any custom post type that has hierarchical taxonomies, such as portfolios, events and products, and with any ecommerce or events calendar plugin that uses custom post types. It supports Easy Digital Downloads and The Events Calendar. Protected categories and their posts are hidden and no-indexed from search engines.

Visitors log in from a single page or sidebar, and the plugin sends them to the correct category based on the password. It supports Product Add-Ons, Quick View and Dynamic Pricing.
