Paid Memberships Pro – VAT Tax

This add-on for Paid Memberships Pro calculates VAT at membership checkout. It adds a European Union Residents VAT section to the checkout form. Customers select their EU country of residence or enter a VAT number to avoid the tax.

The add-on validates VAT numbers with the SOAP service provided by the European Commission. VAT rates are calculated from the constant rates defined in the plugin, which follow those listed by the European Commission. Enter your Seller Country under Memberships > Settings > Payment Gateway.

GeoIP support detects the user's country automatically when the GeoIP Detect plugin is installed and active. Filters change the VAT rate for each country and the list of EU countries.
