Paid Memberships Pro – Addon Packages

Addon Packages sells access to individual pages or posts, or a la carte items, for a flat fee on a Paid Memberships Pro site. You designate a post as an addon package by setting a price and choosing which membership levels can purchase it.

Once purchased, the user has access as long as they hold the required level. Users without access see the excerpt and a purchase link at the bottom of the page. Users with access see the full content after the more tag. The PMPROAP_EXP_DAYS setting defines an expiration term for access, and the pmproap_all_access_levels filter defines the levels with all access.

It works only for a one-time charge, with no recurring payments, and you cannot apply tax or discount codes to the purchase. With Paid Memberships Pro 3.0 or higher, the developer recommends a Level Group that allows more than one membership instead.
