Paid Memberships Pro – PayFast Gateway

This add-on for Paid Memberships Pro adds Payfast as a gateway option. Payfast is a South African payment processing service. Merchants accept funds from local and international customers in ZAR.

Set the Payment Gateway to Payfast in Payment Settings, enter your merchant details and Security Passphrase, and set your currency to South African Rand. A Payfast Debug Mode lets you test payments, cancellations and recurring payments, and writes a log file.

The Payfast API does not support custom trials. Set the initial payment to $0 and adjust the recurring amount to offer a trial. Payfast Instant Transaction Notifications must work for orders to leave pending status.
