About This Plugin
Gravity Forms Encrypted Fields is an add-on for Gravity Forms that adds encryption and data access control. It protects personal or sensitive data such as names, addresses, phone numbers, emails and birthdates, and helps with data storage compliance such as GDPR by securing data at rest in the database. It works with all payment gateways.
Encrypt only the fields you choose. Give individual fields or all fields to the users and roles that need them. Users without permission cannot view, search or export the values. You can also hide field results in admin without turning encryption on. Restricted displays are customizable, or can show nothing. For permitted users, decryption is automatic: entries, exports and native entry search by exact content of encrypted fields work as normal.
Custom merge tags are supported. An optional OpenSSL Async/Strict Access Mode allows decryption only when a logged in WordPress user is present. Developers get helper functions to encrypt and decrypt other data in WordPress.
