About This Plugin

Gravity Forms WPDB Connect, also called SP Gravity Forms WPDB Connect, connects Gravity Forms directly to your WordPress database. It writes entries into your own MySQL tables, fills field choices from SQL, and validates or looks up field values against the database. It is built on the Feed Add-On Framework and works inside the standard Gravity Forms feed settings.

Add a WPDB Connect feed under Form Settings and map each form field to a table column, with insert, update and delete. Define a primary key so edits and deletions in the Gravity Forms backend update or remove the matching row, and use the {insert:id} placeholder for the insert id. Add several feeds to one form to write into several tables at once.

A MySQL query fills the choices of drop down, multi select, radio, checkbox and chained select fields, and fills price fields on product, option and shipping fields. A look-up query validates input fields such as single line text, paragraph text, number, name and email against your data, and shows a validation error on no match. Choices, look-up and validation queries are restricted to SELECT and SHOW. Conditional logic, GFAPI and Chained Selects are supported. English and German translations and documentation are included.
