AffiliateWP – External Referral Links
Track affiliate referrals from a separate WordPress marketing site that links back to your store.
About This Plugin
This free add-on for AffiliateWP lets affiliates promote another WordPress-based site and still earn commission on sales made on your main site. You install it on the separate site, which acts purely as a marketing site, while AffiliateWP stays on the main site.
It takes the affiliate's ID or username from the referral URL and stores it as a cookie in the customer's browser. It then passes that referral to links on the marketing site that point to your main site, so the affiliate is credited when the customer buys there.
It works only with non-pretty affiliate links, such as ?ref=123 or ?ref=john. A visit is recorded only when the outbound link is clicked to return to the main site.
