PrivateContent – Premium Plans Add-on

Premium Plans is an add-on for PrivateContent that turns it into a membership platform for paid and time-limited subscriptions. WooCommerce handles the payments. Recurring payments work with the WooCommerce Subscription plugin, and WooCommerce coupons discount plans, including at renewal.

Plans can be free or have no time limit, and you can set a trial period for newly registered users. Pending users can be enabled automatically after payment. Choose what happens when a user wants to change: allow only extending the plan's duration, allow changing plans, or discount the remaining time against the new plan's price.

A plans chooser box leads visitors to your registration page or opens it in a lightbox. A user orders history block shows each order in detail and links to invoices when a dedicated free invoice plugin is used. Shortcodes show a user's plan and expiration date, and restrict content by plan or by trial status. Renewal is automatic: once a plan expires, the login form prompts the user to renew. With the Mail Actions add-on you can email users about expired subscriptions or trials. Existing users stay unaffected until you assign them a plan, individually or in bulk.
