Modern Events Calendar (MEC) is a WordPress events calendar plugin for creating events, selling tickets and managing bookings in one place. It offers 60+ event display layouts and a clean back-end interface, and it suits events of any size, from private events to corporate seminars, yoga, cooking and workshops.

The MEC Pro Booking module enables online event reservations, and the Ticket & Invoice add-on sells tickets, manages check-ins with QR codes, and emails tickets and invoices. The Seat add-on lets guests choose their seats from custom venue plans and ready-made layouts. Booking also works for appointments, where users book time slots for services such as consultations and classes. Payments run through gateways like PayPal, Stripe and WooCommerce.

Host virtual events with the Virtual Events or Zoom Integration add-on, which can paywall an event and embed the meeting link.
