WooCommerce Subscriptions

WooCommerce Subscriptions is a WooCommerce extension that lets customers subscribe to your products or services and pay on a weekly, monthly or annual basis. It works for physical, virtual and downloadable products, such as product-of-the-month clubs, service subscriptions and yearly software billing.

You can add sign-up fees, free trials and expiration periods, and create storewide plans that apply across your subscription products. Each product can be sold as a one-time purchase, a subscription or both. Billing date alignment syncs subscribers to the same renewal date, and the first payment can be charged in full, on the next billing date or prorated. Recurring discount coupons and sign-up fee coupons give you control over promotions. Customers can upgrade, downgrade or switch plans with flexible proration, and they can gift a subscription to someone else.

It integrates with over 25 payment gateways for automatic recurring payments, including WooPayments, Stripe, PayPal Payments and PayPal Braintree. Manual renewals work through any WooCommerce payment gateway. A failed payment retry system can rebill failed payments, and you turn it on as a setting. Subscribers can manage their own subscriptions from their account, and built-in emails cover renewals, failed payments, cancellations and expirations. You manage every subscription from the WP Admin dashboard, with reports on recurring revenue and active subscribers and a Subscriptions Health Check that flags renewals needing attention.
