WooCommerce Distance Rate Shipping

WooCommerce Distance Rate Shipping offers shipping rates based on the distance or total travel time to your customer. You can charge extra based on total weight, total cart value or the number of items in the cart. It suits stores that deliver their own products, such as equipment hire, takeaway and home-cooked meal services.

Rules can give free delivery inside a chosen distance and charge for anything beyond it. You can set a maximum distance, and customers outside it see a message that delivery is not available. Advanced Mode combines conditions with AND/OR logic, for example free delivery within a radius for customers who also spend above an amount. Each rule can add a handling fee as a fixed amount or a percentage.

The extension uses Google Maps to work out the route, so you need a Google account with an API key and billing enabled. You can show the calculated distance and approximate delivery duration on the cart and checkout pages, choose the transportation mode, avoid tolls, highways or ferries, and switch between metric and imperial units.
