WooCommerce Customer Email Verification

Customer Email Verification for WooCommerce sends a one-time password to the customer's email at signup, checkout and login. Real emails are verified, and bots and fake accounts are blocked. The 6-digit OTP needs no third-party service. The expiry time and email content are configurable.

A Smart Form replaces the default login and registration form, with four template layouts. Customers register by email or phone and log in with a password, email OTP or phone OTP. SMS verification works through MSG91, Twilio, Vonage or WhatsApp, with a fallback to email OTP if SMS fails. Two-factor authentication works with Google Authenticator, Authy, Microsoft Authenticator or any TOTP app. Verification rules can be set per user role.

Disposable email blocking uses a bundled list of 3,000+ domains, and you can add your own. MX record validation catches typos and fake domains before an OTP is sent. B2B Allowlist mode limits registration to specific domains. Paid-order gatekeeping keeps zero-total checkout accounts pending until a genuine payment completes. An Analytics tab shows signups, verification rate and blocked spam. Daily cron jobs delete stale unverified accounts, and one click flips all customers back to unverified.
