Ultimate Member – Real-time Notifications

This extension adds a real-time notification system to your Ultimate Member site. Users get updates on your website as they happen.

Core notifications cover role changes, comments on a user's post, replies to a comment, and profile views by members or guests. bbPress notifications cover replies on topics a user created or on any specific topic. With the User Reviews extension, users are notified of new reviews and ratings, and with myCRED they are notified of points received.

Notifications arrive as instant Ajax updates, and you control the time delay. Every user gets a notifications page with past notifications, chooses which types to receive and can delete notifications. The browser tab shows the notification count. Admin settings enable and disable notification types. Real-time checks need stable hosting, otherwise increase the delay between checks. It requires Ultimate Member v1.1.5+.
