Ultimate Member – Followers

Followers is an Ultimate Member extension that increases user interaction by letting users follow each other. It adds a follow/unfollow button to user profiles and to profile cards on member directories, and shows followers and following stats in both places.

Users can restrict their profile to their followers only, or to people they follow. They receive an email notification when someone follows them and can turn it off from their account page. Widgets show a user's followers and who they follow in the sidebar. You decide whether a user role can follow other users and restrict which roles a role can follow.

It integrates with the Notifications extension, so users get a notification when followed, and with Private Messages, which adds follow restrictions on who can send a private message.
