SearchWP Xpdf Integration is an extension for SearchWP that hands the work of processing PDF files from PHP to Xpdf, which extracts PDF content quickly and accurately. SearchWP then indexes all PDF content, not just titles and metadata.
It also indexes PDF metadata and custom fields. You can index all PDF content or specify the exact content to index. Algorithm settings weight PDF attributes by relevance, and you can set keyword rankings and promote results with one click. Posts and pages that do not belong in PDF search can be hidden.
Live Ajax search shows PDF results as visitors type. PDF search forms can be added anywhere with a Gutenberg block or a search modal popup. It suits digital bookstores, info products and online libraries.
