About This Plugin
SearchWP Fuzzy Matches is an extension for SearchWP that makes search more lenient. It includes search terms that are close in spelling to terms in your index.
Filters let you tune how loose the matching is: a minimum word length (default 5), a spell-check match threshold from 0 to 100 (default 80) and a maximum percentage of digits in a term before spell checking is skipped (default 10).
Fuzzy matching broadens search terms and can bring in unwanted results, so it is recommended only when needed. Check SearchWP's search statistics for zero-result terms first, and try Term Synonyms for common misspellings. The extension is deprecated as of SearchWP 3.0.
