LearnPress – Instructor Commission Addon

This add-on for LearnPress manages revenue sharing in a multi-instructor marketplace. It sets commission rates and tracks the revenue from every course sale.

Set a default commission percentage for all instructors, for example Instructor 70% and Platform 30%, or assign a rate to one instructor or a single course. Net earnings for both sides are calculated after each successful order. Each sale is recorded with the course name, purchasing student, order amount, commission percentage and the instructor's net earnings, with revenue statistics by day, week or month and totals per instructor.

Every commission has a status: Pending, Completed, or Canceled/Failed. Administrators update payment statuses by hand or connect an automatic payment plugin such as PayPal Payouts. Instructors get their own dashboard area with their orders, rates, total earnings and payout status, and can receive email notifications for new commissions and processed payments. It needs LearnPress, a payment gateway through LearnPress Payment, and the LearnPress Co-Instructor Add-on when you have multiple instructors.
