About YITH updates
YITH plugins are notoriously difficult to keep up to date. We do our best and update them as soon as we possibly can. If your site needs every update the day it's released, a reasonable alternative to YITH plugins is the better fit.
About This Plugin
YITH WooCommerce Multi-step Checkout splits the checkout into steps so customers see which step they are in and what comes next. It aims to cut the abandoned carts caused by a long checkout page with too many fields.
The timeline comes in 10 layouts, five vertical and five horizontal, and you can set the layout shown to mobile users. You customize the colors of every step and status and all the texts, and show numbers or icons for the steps. Billing and Shipping can merge into one step and Order info and Payment into another. The Shipping step can be disabled for products that do not ship, and AJAX validation stops customers moving on until mandatory fields are complete.
It integrates with YITH Easy Login for WooCommerce, so customers can log in or register during checkout.
