wpDiscuz User and Comment Mentioning
Mention users with @username and comments with #ID, and notify them by email.
About This Plugin
wpDiscuz User and Comment Mentioning lets commenters mention users with @username and other comments with #comment-id tags. With the comment rich editor enabled, typing @ starts a user search that suggests users to mention. A button on each comment shows its ID so you can copy it into another comment.
Mentioned users and authors of mentioned comments are notified by email. In the comment list, @username and #ID turn into links with avatars. Hovering opens a pop-up with user or comment information, and clicking goes to the user page or jumps to the comment.
You can enable or disable each function and customize the Comment Mentioning and User Mentioning email content in the settings.
