About This Plugin
User to User Private Messages is an add-on for UsersWP. It adds a social network style chat to your WordPress site, so members of your online community chat one on one. Logged-in users send messages with the Message button on the users directory, a profile page or the messaging sidebar, and a popup message box opens.
Settings let you define a message length with a character limit, send email notifications for unread messages at your chosen interval, blacklist users from the chat, set a profanity filter word list and customize the color of each chat element. Users can block other users who troll or spam.
The Messages tab in the profile lists recent conversations. Users restrict who can message them under Account, Messaging: Everybody, Nobody, Friends or Followers. The add-on is fully responsive and translatable.
