Gravity Perks – Gravity Forms Read Only

Gravity Forms Read Only sets form fields to a read only state. The field is visible, but users cannot edit it. Any field that supports user input can be made read only, from the Perks tab of the field.

It adds the readonly attribute to the markup when Gravity Forms generates the field, so no extra JavaScript is needed. Fields that do not support readonly natively, such as Drop Downs, use the disabled attribute, and the value is captured in a hidden input so it still submits. Fields with calculations enabled are read only by default.

Use it to lock default values, or to show calculated quantities with Nested Forms. Merge tags work in default values, and Populate Anything's Live Merge Tags add more flexibility.
