Gravity Perks – Gravity Forms Nested Forms
Add a Nested Form field to Gravity Forms to collect child entries inside a parent form.
About This Plugin
Gravity Forms Nested Forms is a Gravity Perks add-on that adds a Nested Form field type. The field lets you pick another form to collect child entries and attaches them to the parent entry on submission. Child entries show in a clean, compact table on the parent form, where they can be viewed, edited or deleted. It also works as a Gravity Forms repeater: the group of repeating fields is submitted through a modal.
Use it to register a team and players, a company and employees, or a make and models on the same form. Sum, total and count calculations pull data from your nested forms into the parent form. The {Parent} merge tag fills child form fields from the parent form and brings parent data into child form notifications. Feeds can process on child form submission or only when the parent form is submitted, for example to register a user for each child entry.
Choose which child fields appear in the table and reorder the columns by drag and drop. Set singular and plural labels, and set the minimum and maximum number of entries. The modal header color is customizable or inherits the Gravity Forms theme colors. Nested Form fields are navigable by keyboard and work with screen readers, and hooks and a templating system support developers.
