Envira Gallery – Featured Content Addon

This Envira Gallery addon creates galleries from any category or tag on any post type in WordPress.

You create a gallery, select the External Gallery tab and choose the Featured Content icon. Then you pick the post type, the taxonomy terms (categories and tags) and how many posts to show. You can link the title to the post as well as the image, and show content from the post. Envira uses each post's featured image first, then a Fallback Image URL you set in the gallery settings. Enable the caption to display post titles or content.
