Easy Digital Downloads Manual Purchases

Manual Purchases lets you create orders from the admin area and attribute them to a registered user or guest. Use it when a customer pays in person or over the phone with a credit card, or to give a complimentary copy of a product for promotional or customer support purposes.

As of Easy Digital Downloads 3.0, this feature is built into EDD itself. The legacy extension is deactivated automatically on updating to 3.0 and cannot be activated. In 3.0 and later, go to Downloads > Orders and click Add Order. You can add downloads and quantities, apply a discount, add an adjustment such as a fee or store credit, pick the customer, and set the order status, date, gateway and transaction ID. You also choose whether to send a purchase receipt.
