Easy Digital Downloads MailChimp

This extension integrates your Easy Digital Downloads store with Mailchimp. It automatically subscribes customers to specific lists and groups based on the items they purchased. Customers can also opt themselves into a list during checkout by checking a box.

It supports Mailchimp's eCommerce tracking, so you can see which products drive more subscribers and which Mailchimp campaigns result in more sales. The eCommerce data lets you create segments and groups for future campaigns, such as an automated follow-up that upsells premium products to subscribers who bought your basic or free downloads.

You control how and when customers are subscribed and whether they are sent a double opt-in email. It works with the Free Downloads extension, so people who download free products can become email subscribers. You can also send purchase receipts through Mailchimp, which lets you use Mailchimp email templates and A/B testing on receipt emails.
