About This Plugin
This extension for Download Monitor requires users to be subscribed to your MailChimp list before they gain access to a download. Only existing MailChimp subscribers can access your files. Lock the downloads of your choice with one click. It is fully GDPR compliant and requires the free MailChimp for WordPress plugin.
It supports double opt-in. Set your MailChimp list to double opt-in and include the download URL in your final welcome email. Appending ?email=*|EMAIL|* to the download URL lets MailChimp generate unique download URLs from your campaigns.
The extension uses the MailChimp for WP mc4wp_form shortcode, which displays the subscribe form that grants access after successful completion. Control the content with the built-in WordPress content editor.
