BuddyPress for LearnDash

BuddyPress for LearnDash connects the LearnDash LMS plugin with BuddyPress, so your learners can interact with each other. You add groups, activity, members and forums to your courses. It needs LearnDash and BuddyPress installed and activated, and it does not include LearnDash.

Any LearnDash course can be tied to a BuddyPress group. Course participants are added to the group as members, and the group becomes private to them and invited members. Course lessons become visible in the group, and the course featured image becomes the group avatar if none is set. Course activity can stream into the group feed, and group admins choose which actions to allow, such as a user starting or completing a course, creating or completing a lesson, passing a quiz or commenting on a lesson page.

Members can view their Active and Completed courses in their profiles. Leaders and Students appear as filterable tabs in the Members directory, and LearnDash user links redirect to member profiles instead of author pages. With bbPress enabled, every course group gets a forum named after the course.
