Easy Digital Downloads Recommended Products

Recommended Products is an Easy Digital Downloads extension that shows a cross sell of recommended products on download pages and the checkout screen. A couple of checkboxes turn it on. The picks are not related products. They are chosen from your store's previous sales and refreshed every night to include the day's sales. You can also run the update script by hand from the Extensions settings page.

On activation it reads your past sales to build the first recommendations. You can leave free products out of the pod. Products a user already bought, or already has in the cart, are removed from their recommendations. Each purchase made through a recommendation shows in the EDD reports area, so you can filter by source and see how well recommendations convert.

The pod is fully templatable. Copy your own template into the edd_templates folder of your theme to restyle it.
