Run an events directory with recurring events, date filters and a calendar view.
About This Plugin
Events is a GeoDirectory add-on. It gives you all the power of a standard custom post type plus event-centric fields and sorting, so you can create an advanced events directory.
Recurring events let users add an event once and automatically fill the directory with repeat listings. Repeats can be daily or every x days, weekly, monthly (such as the second Friday of each month), yearly, or on custom dates picked from a calendar. Filter links show Upcoming, Past, Today, Tomorrow, the next 7 or 30 days, This Weekend, This Month, Next Week and Next Month. A calendar view shows which days have events each month.
With other add-ons you can go further. Multiple Events CPTs plus the Custom Post Types add-on make any post type event specific. Link events to a venues post type and show upcoming events on a venue listing. Pricing Manager limits recurring events to paid price packages. Advanced Search adds date fields to the main search bar.
