About This Plugin
WooCommerce Purchase Order Gateway adds a field to the checkout screen where a customer enters their purchase order number. You provide that number to the customer directly in a manual agreement. It suits B2B and wholesale stores, and buyers such as businesses, schools and government agencies with strict purchasing policies.
The order is saved with the PO number and placed on hold. The gateway does not process a card or capture funds, and it does not generate PO numbers. You bill through your own offline process, then mark the order complete once it is settled. It needs no configuration to get started.
To take card payments in the same store, pair it with a payment gateway such as WooPayments.
