AffiliateWP – Custom Affiliate Slugs

This add-on for AffiliateWP lets affiliates create a custom slug, the part of the referral URL that normally holds the username or ID. A slug such as mycustomslug123 works in ?ref= and /ref/ URLs alongside the standard variations.

Slugs can be personal, match an affiliate's business name or be completely random. An affiliate who wants to keep a WordPress username private can use a custom slug in their links. The Auto-create Custom Slugs option generates a slug when an affiliate registers, is registered automatically as a user, or is added manually. The slug follows the rules in the add-on's settings.

Affiliates set, change or remove their slug from the Settings tab of the Affiliate Area. Admins enable slugs for all affiliates or just some, edit them from the Edit Affiliate page, and see a custom slug column when exporting affiliates.
