MonsterInsights – EU Compliance Addon

This add-on for MonsterInsights configures Google Analytics to align with GDPR and other privacy regulations. It anonymizes IP addresses on all hits, disables demographics and remarketing tracking, and disables UserID and author tracking.

Privacy Guard detects and strips personally identifiable information, such as emails, names and IDs found in URLs, before it reaches Google Analytics. EEA Consent Mode adjusts how data is collected based on each visitor's consent status.

It integrates with CookieBot, Cookie Notice, CookieYes and Complianz, holding off tracking until visitors consent. It also works with Google Analytics opt-out APIs for custom consent platforms, and offers a built-in opt-out link you can place anywhere. Individual settings can be toggled separately.
