MapSVG – WordPress Map Plugin

MapSVG is a map plugin for WordPress. You turn a vector SVG file into an interactive map, use Google Maps with vector overlays, or add interactivity to a JPEG or PNG image. Use cases include sales reps by region, store locators, land plots and data visualization, where numbers become colors on the map.

Map data can come from the MapSVG Database, WordPress custom posts, Google Sheets, WooCommerce products, Advanced Custom Fields or an API endpoint. You can import large data sets from a CSV file. Custom objects hold fields such as text, textarea, image, select, multiselect, radio, checkbox and date. Link objects to map regions, add markers by entering an address, and show 1000 markers at once with marker clusters.

A directory list sits next to the map with filters, text search and distance filtering. Click actions open a details view for a region or marker. You control the look with templates written in Handlebars syntax, JavaScript event handlers and a CSS editor.
