BuddyPress Profanity Filter

BuddyPress Profanity Filter filters and replaces unwanted words in your BuddyPress or BuddyBoss platform community.

It censors words in activity updates, activity comments, private message subjects and content, posts, comments and bbPress forum content. Turn the filter on or off for each content type. Build your own list of censored words, separated by commas.

Choose case sensitive or insensitive matching. Strict filtering matches individual words or even parts of words in a sentence. Pick the symbols that replace the censored characters and control how matched words are replaced. Admins can be notified when content with censored words is posted. The plugin matches words with regular expressions, so keep the list in the hundreds, not thousands. It does not filter the messages dropdown in the BuddyBoss header menu.
