BuddyPress Friends Suggestions Pro
Show friend and follow suggestions in a widget, matched on BuddyPress or BuddyBoss profile fields.
About This Plugin
BuddyPress Friends Suggestions Pro adds a friends suggestions widget to BuddyPress and BuddyBoss Platform sites. It works like Facebook's "People you may know" widget. It suggests friends or followers by matching the logged-in user's profile data with other users' profile data.
You create one or more rule sets, and each rule set holds one or more rules based on profile field data. Operators set how a field is compared. You choose whether a match needs all conditions or any one of them. Add the BP Friends Suggestion Pro widget under Appearance, then Widgets, give it a title, pick Friends or Follow and select the rule set.
Follow suggestions work too. On BuddyPress they need the BuddyPress Follow plugin. The plugin works with the Legacy and Nouveau template packs and with the BuddyBoss theme. There is no limit on rules, but more than four conditions in a rule set is not recommended because profile data search is an expensive operation.
